Title:       Workday Security Engineer
Duration:    6+ Months
Location:    Minneapolis, MN
Pay Range: $60 - $70/hr 

DAY TO DAY:

• Partner with product teams to review, configure, and implement Workday security roles, ISUs, ISGs, and segmented domains.
• Support security requests from HCM-aligned product teams, ensuring compliance with internal standards and avoiding data exposure.
• Maintain existing security configurations and troubleshoot permission or access issues across the Workday environment.
• Collaborate with U.S. and offshore teams using a Kanban methodology and shared backlog.
• Review security designs and help enforce consistent governance practices across all Workday HCM modules.

MUST HAVES:

• 2+ years of hands-on Workday security configuration experience (roles, ISUs/ISGs, domains).
• Experience supporting or implementing Workday integrations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and global partners.
• Familiarity with Workday HCM modules (benefits, compensation, payroll, absence).
• Detail-oriented mindset with awareness of security, compliance, and data governance standards.

NICE TO HAVES:

• Experience with Workday Extend.
• Background in audit, risk, or information security related to Workday.
• Familiarity with new authentication mechanisms in Workday or cloud environments.
