Pay Range: $40/hr-$43/hr

About the Role:

• We are seeking a licensed Master’s level clinician to join our Utilization Management team.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of behavioral health experience, including outpatient community behavioral health services.
• This is a fully remote position, but candidates must reside in Florida.

Responsibilities: -

• Provide concurrent review and prior authorizations for client Healthcare members
• Identify appropriate benefits, eligibility, and expected length of stay for members 
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance continuity of care
• Maintain department productivity and quality measures
• Attend regular staff meetings and assist with mentoring new team members
• Maintain professional relationships with providers and internal/external customers
• Consult with medical directors and comply with workplace safety standards

Education Qualification: -

• Master’s level clinician with an active and unrestricted license in the state of Florida (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW)
• At least 2 years of direct care experience in an outpatient behavioral health setting
• 1+ year of managed care experience
• Experience with Utilization Management or Prior Authorization
• Knowledge of community health and social service agencies

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, Interqual, and NCQA
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office products
• Ability to take initiative and see tasks to completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
