Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PSAP Relation Manager) to support a high-impact 9-1-1 Network transition project. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving expertise, proven project management skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. This role requires excellent communication, adaptability under pressure, and the ability to deliver results within challenging timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the 9-1-1 Network transition project from initiation to successful completion.

Collaborate with multiple departments and subsidiaries to establish and monitor project timelines and deliverables.

Serve as the key point of contact for Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.

Apply creative problem-solving skills to provide strategic, customer-focused, and profitable solutions.

Work effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining a calm, professional, and solutions-oriented approach.

Provide regular updates and critical situation reports to senior management.

Ensure compliance with change control processes, testing strategies, and acceptance criteria.

Demonstrate initiative, working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively in team environments.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) required.

10+ years of experience in Project Management and Problem Solving roles.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across teams and stakeholders.

Proven ability to remain composed, adaptable, and decisive in high-pressure situations.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
-
Experience working in a change control-oriented environment with solid understanding of testing methodologies and acceptance criteria.

Confidence in engaging with and presenting to senior management.
Preferred Skills:
-
Prior experience with telecom, public safety, or 9-1-1 systems projects.

Background in large-scale network transition or infrastructure projects.
