Location: Houston, TX

Salary Range: 130K-145K
As a Senior SCADA Developer, you will be responsible for:

Designing, developing, and maintaining SCADA applications within the Ignition platform (Vision, Perspective, Edge, EAM).

Programming in Python (Jython, Cython, advanced libraries) and JavaScript (React, Node) for automation, analytics, and visualization.

Optimizing databases by troubleshooting slow queries, designing indexes, and tuning PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB for real-time forecasting and modeling.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Minimum 5+ years of industry experience with enterprise SCADA systems (>800,000 tags).

Proven experience with the Ignition SCADA platform (Vision, Perspective, Edge, EAM preferred).

Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, Linux administration, and system architecture.

Familiarity with SCADA communication protocols: MQTT w/ SPB specification, OPC UA, EIP, Modbus, ROC Protocol, DNP3.
