Job Title: AI Engineer 

Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH
Client Industry: Banking 
Duration: 24 Months Contract 
Schedule:  Monday to Friday 

About the Role AI Engineer  with Redis and Triton Inference server Experience.

MUST HAVES

• 2-3 years’ Experience with LLMs (LLaMA 3, GPT, Claude, Mistral, etc.)
• 2-3 years Strong understanding of RAG architecture and implementation.
• 7 plus Proficiency with Python and working knowledge of Java.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on with Redis or other vector databases.
• Experience deploying models using NVIDIA Triton Inference Server.
• Familiarity with GPUs, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Solid Unix/Linux command-line and scripting skills.
• CI/CD experience using XLR, Datical, Jenkins, or related tools.

DAY TO DAY

• Design and implement LLM-based applications using LLaMA 3 or comparable foundation models.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines integrating with vector databases such as Redis, FAISS, or Pinecone.
• Develop backend systems using Python (primary) and Java (secondary).
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analytics.
• Deploy AI models using NVIDIA Triton Inference Server in containerized environments.
• Manage and optimize GPU workloads for inference tasks.
• Work within Unix/Linux environments to automate pipelines and deploy code.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using XLR (XebiaLabs Release), Datical (Liquibase), and other DevOps tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum teams, actively contributing to sprints, planning, and code reviews.

Compensation 

Hourly Rate: 60$-65$ per hour 
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
